24/02/2016 ABSA, Cape Town : ABSA bounced debit order, despite sufficient funds
 
ABSA paid my Cell C debit order of R1344.97 on 15 Feb 2016, while there was R1402.09 in my account.

This brought my balance to R57.12, which is in line with the agreement to keep R50 in the account.

Then ABSA put through a transaction charge of R8 (which theoretically they could return) ... but instead of returning the transaction fee, ABSA returned the Cell C debit order (claiming insufficient funds) AND then charged me the R8 (for a transaction they had returned) AND an additional R6 'unpaid fee'.

On 23 Feb the debit order was resubmitted and paid, and ABSA then charged ANOTHER R8 'transaction fee'.

What is this, other than a RIP OFF!
